Actually I can......

I did it only i have a box with a question mark in it ,.... never mind I will sort myself out hopefully as I continue to post I will get better.

Been sorting through lots of things tonight. My aunt has a wee stall in our church at the coffee morning every week and is constantly saying don't throw anything out that I could sell at my second hand stall. So tonight I have bag of a few things shoes, jumpers a couple of books and cd's and after Christmas I need to sort out stuff thats been at my dads house for the last 2 years that I have not used or worn. Someone will want them. Its always weird that you think the stuff you have is junk and want to get rid of it and other people love it. I love chucking out stuff I know wierdo springs to mind.

I have loads of stuff I no longer use or need and with Ross and I getting married next year I need to sort through my stuff and decide whats not to be kept.

Oh that reminds me Ross ......only 43 weeks on Saturday..... I so need to loose weight argh!!!!

I can't do this

I just can't get this. I wrote out a blog last night and tried to publish it and lost it, now I have just posted another one managed to publish it but for some reason I can't get the picture to show so I just took it out and well I guess I will have to wait till the headphonaught or Littlelaughalot can talk me through this again or maybe blogging just is not for me eh who knows....I know its not that hard but me and computers ...not good.

Well as most of you know I am a nurse and the main part of my job is assisting the surgeon by handing over equipment etc, so it involves a lot of concentration I guess just like most things in my job. Anyway yesterday was the first time I scrubbed for a laparoscopic hernia repair and I must admit it was not too difficult but when its something new you really have to watch closely to see whats happening to remember for the next time. Luckily the surgeon was very nice and he talked me through it all step by step. Laparoscopic surgery is great as you can see everything on the screen. Its amazing really to see the insides of someones body and how through tiny holes made in the tummy area, a telescope to see what you are doing and and a grasper and a probe you can fix a hernia which really is an amazing thing. I love my job for many reasons but the best part is seeing someone walk in the door either in pain or with obvious signs of 'lumps and bumps', and knowing that they are going to be helped and that I will be a part of making them better.

There are many stories that I could tell but at the moment I don't have any that funny or exciting apart from yesterday afternoon when we sent the new auxillary nurse for 'the long stand' in the store and he went..... it was funny to watch as he is a bit of a smart guy but really stupid if that makes sense!!!!! He was very embarrassed and not happy when he realised we had joked and the laugh was on him.

The picture above is just random and not me or anyone I know (just incase I get done for confidentiality)

Here I am...bright and breezy!

Well I never thought I would ever have a blog...but I don't want to feel left out...(seems everyone's got one these days!) I'll give it a go! Can't promise to blog a post everyday unlike the infamous headphonaught, but I'll do my best to make it interesting and worth the read.

Now for those of you who don't know me, the blog name "bright and breezy" just helps to reflect my personality ...bright and bubbly (well at least I try to be)...and the breezy..well...I'll leave that up to your own imagination. Please keep checking in, be patient with me...I work shifts so spare time is limited but I hope to give you some smiles and laugh but also to share with you when things are not so bright!
